Women's Activities

Centered around leisurely pastimes and committees that lend support to the everyday operation of the Port Washington Yacht Club is the Women's Activities group, comprised of women members who give their time, both in organizing and participating in many of the activities the club offers.
From Bridge to Bowling to Wednesday Tennis, this is an active group that loves to get together. These members are responsible for making the Club lovely at the change of season, and they also lend their talents to the many member events throughout the year.
In addition to those activities, they actively plan many special events throughout the year. Past events have included philanthropic dinners, fashion shows, and seasonal gatherings. Every year the offerings expand at the suggestions of the membership. Recent suggestions in the planning stages: book & author luncheons, guest speakers on finance and health, and many other exciting prospects.
